I'm sharing some recommendations to make the best out of this unexpected year.
- SIMPLIFY: THE SIMPLEST THINGS IN THIS LIFE ARE THE ONES THAT REPORT THE MOST HAPPINESS.
- HAVE NO EXPECTATIONS: THE TRIP YOU HAD PLANNED MIGHT NOT HAPPEN. IT IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD. NOBODY SAYS YOU CAN'T START DREAMING ABOUT THE NEXT ONE.
Create your own enjoyable experiences: for example, if you don't feel comfortable going to the store to shop for that new swimsuit, just enjoy the experience online, get on your laptop for the best quality images and a more enjoyable and safe shopping experience. Double satisfaction guaranteed: when you shop and when you receive the item at home.
Spend time in Nature: use the resources around you...the ocean, the sea, the mountains, lakes, the desert...not far away from your home there are beautiful areas where you can spend the day, recharge your energy levels and connect with the most essential parts of life: NATURE. Outdoor areas are the safest to be around these months. Some activities that bring tones of joy: biking, paddle boarding, surfing, hiking, swimming, outdoor yoga practice, running.
If you decide you're not ready to hang out with friends or the State where you live has social distancing recommendations in place, you can still feel connected to your friends and family members: you can have a delightful evening dining alfresco with beautiful food and delicious drinks catching up with your friends over Facetime. Best part: you don't have to drive home after you finish your wine bottle!
Watch the Sunset and make a ceremony out of it. There aren't many cheaper (free) and more satisfying experiences than watching a Summer sunset from a high point or clear area close to your home. Find it on the Maps and head there today or tomorrow.
Be spontaneous. Go with the FLOW, let your day open to whatever you feel like doing when you get up. Maybe you'll end up in a beautiful lake, or organizing your garage...but it will be the true thing to do because you will be listening to your body and soul.
